A little about me! I’m a graduate of the University of Portland with a degree in Organizational Communication. For the past eight years, I’ve excelled as an Account Manager at Canary Marketing, where I’ve honed skills in project management, product design, and vendor coordination. My role has provided invaluable experience that I’m eager to apply to the world of interior design.
During my time at Canary, I’ve developed expertise in tasks that directly translate to interior design, such as working with high-profile clients, managing orders with vendors, and tailoring product to meet specific budgets and needs. These skills, combined with my attention to detail and strong communication abilities, make me confident in my ability to succeed in a Design Assistant role.
Some of my key accomplishments include:
Completing AutoCAD 1 through the University of Arizona
Interning at a San Francisco-based design firm, focusing on their marketing strategy
Compiling a comprehensive list of San Diego-area vendors and their capabilities
Currently designing a 5-bed, 5.5-bath home for a client in Florida
The past few years, I’ve dedicated myself to learn and gain hands-on experience in interior design. I’m excited to bring my project management background and passion for design into a new career, and I’m eager to continue learning and growing in the field.
I’m particularly drawn to styles like French Country, Coastal, Cottage, Classic and Timeless Interiors with a love for eclectic pieces that tell a story!
